Your part of the city
Getting your licence on the north side
The north side stretches a long way, from the older suburbs near the river out to Bracken Ridge and Sandgate by the bay. Where you begin shapes those first lessons. Quiet streets around Wilston, Grange and Kedron are good for getting the basics down, while Gympie Road, Sandgate Road and the traffic around Chermside ask for more once you have settled in. Up through Ferny Hills, Everton Hills and McDowall the roads turn hilly, so hill starts and roundabouts get proper attention when you are ready.
Our north-side instructors live and teach around here, so they know which streets stay calm for a nervous first lesson and which roundabouts catch people out. You keep the same instructor the whole way through, and a parent can handle the booking and follow how it is going. Learning across more than one part of town? Our driving lessons across Brisbane cover every side of the city.
