Julie was an amazing instructor. She explained things in detail so the lessons really stuck, and was patient and never hard on me when I made a mistake. She was the easiest instructor to learn from, and I passed first go.

After a bad experience elsewhere I almost gave up. Meeting Kevin changed everything. He is patient and supportive, explained everything clearly and helped me believe in myself. Learning with him was the best decision I made.

Thanks to Julie for teaching Cassidy. She valued Julie's patience and her belief that Cassidy would pass first go. Julie's way of teaching really suits anxious learners who need a bit of reassurance.

Beginner lessons are a good fit if

Everyone starts somewhere. These lessons are built for the very first stretch of learning to drive.

  • You have never driven a car before
  • You're nervous or anxious about that first drive
  • You have a fresh learner permit and want a confident start
  • You're a parent booking a first lesson for your teen
How we start you off

A calm, proper start behind the wheel

The first lesson is the hardest step, so we make it the easiest. Here's what a beginner can expect.

Quiet-area starts

First lessons begin somewhere calm, a quiet street or a car park, not peak-hour traffic.

The basics, properly

The controls, moving off and stopping, and steering before anything busy.

Patient and judgement-free

Our instructors work with first-timers all the time. Mistakes are simply part of learning.

A cost-effective start

A two-session intro pack gives beginners a solid, good-value first booking.

For parents

Booking lessons for your teenager

If you're booking for your son or daughter, you can arrange and manage the lessons while they work directly with the same instructor each time. Our instructors are qualified, experienced with first-time drivers, and teach in dual-control cars, so there's a second set of pedals if one is ever needed.

Lessons start somewhere quiet and move to busier roads only when your teen is ready, at a pace that suits them rather than a fixed timetable. The focus is on calm, structured lessons and safe habits that last well beyond the test, and your instructor is happy to let you know how each lesson went.
