Getting your licence on the bayside
The bayside east is flat and open, which makes it one of the gentler places in Brisbane to start out. Quiet streets around Manly, Wynnum and Lota sit close to the water, with room to get comfortable before building up to Old Cleveland Road and Wynnum Road. The traffic around Carindale and its shopping centre, and the tight foreshore parking, all come with a bit of practice.
Those calmer bayside streets suit nervous learners, and our east-side instructors are happy to take things slowly at first before working toward the busier roads.
