The rolling hills and creek gullies around Burbank give plenty of chances to work on hill starts, downhill braking and adjusting to changing sight lines. Creek crossings and reservoir-adjacent sections can bring narrower shoulders and changing surfaces, so lessons focus on keeping safe margins, reading the road ahead and knowing when to slow or choose an alternate path, especially after heavy rain when debris or pooled water may be present.
