As you progress, our instructors introduce boundary corridors such as Carter Road, Fern Road and Chambers Flat Road to add real-world turning movements and a mix of rural-residential driveways and occasional heavy vehicles. These roads sit near the connection to Chambers Flat, so lessons here focus on scanning at property accesses, judging gaps and managing changing traffic volumes at different times of day. This stage is useful for preparing you to move between Munruben and neighbouring areas with more confidence.
Practise smooth starts, stops and low-speed turning on Munruben’s quieter rural-residential streets, building observation skills around unmarked driveways and animals.
Use Koplick Road, Lancewood Street or Hillcrest Road for practising consistent speed, positioning and scanning along longer blocks and changing driveways.
Step up to Carter Road, Fern Road or Chambers Flat Road to work on judging gaps, turning across traffic and monitoring occasional heavy vehicles or peak flows.
Logan Central is the nearest practical-test-capable option in the current road-distance calculation at about 19.0 km by road. It is not an official assignment, and learners may book any suitable centre.
